«Inhabitat is teaming up with renowned electronics brand Philips to launch a lighting design competition showcasing the future of eco-friendly lighting. We’re looking for fabulously luminous low-energy lamp designs that ingeniously incorporate the use of green or recycled materials to house energy-saving LED bulbs like Philips AmbientLED.

What’s in it for entrants? Well, we’re giving away $2000 in prize money and offering a great promotional platform for the finalists of this contest. The GRAND PRIZE winner will receive a cool $1000 in prize money, plus their design spotlit on Inhabitat.com, and on display for our international audience of millions of design enthusiasts to see.
